HIGH5: Strengths Career Assessment

What is the HIGH5 Strengths Assessment?

HIGH5 is an online assessment that helps users identify their five primary strengths and equips them with actionable insights on how to use them. It is designed to pinpoint the five strengths that come most naturally to you, giving you valuable insight into how you can maximize your capabilities — categorizing strengths into themes such as leadership, collaboration, and creativity.

Instead of focusing on what’s “wrong” or what you need to fix, it flips the script and helps you identify your top five strengths — the traits and abilities that energize you, come easily, and help you perform at your best. For students, this is a great tool for exploring career paths, preparing for interviews, and understanding how to talk about your strengths to employers.

How to Take the Assessment

Step 1: Go to the HIGH5 assessment through the TSU Career Pathways Center at cpc.tsu.edu/resources/strengths-career-assessment-high5 and click “View Resource,” or go directly to high5test.com.

Step 2: Create a free account using your email address and complete your profile.

Step 3: Answer the 120 questions at your own pace — the assessment is untimed, and most people finish in one sitting. You’ll get your results immediately after completing the assessment. It typically takes about 15–20 minutes.

Step 4: Receive a personalized report outlining your top five strengths, with valuable insights into how to apply them to achieve greater success.

Step 5: Use your results to guide career exploration, strengthen your resume and LinkedIn profile, and prepare to confidently discuss your strengths in job interviews.
