About the Role
Juno Genetics is seeking a bioinformatics data scientist to support data analysis and software development.
Responsibilities
– Assist in clinical and research data management, analysis, report, and documentation
– Contribute to maintenance and development of our in-house Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), including bug fixes, addition of new functionalities, code migration, etc.
Requirements
– Must be able to work full time on site
– A bachelor’s or master’s degree in bioinformatics, data science, computer science, or a closely related field
– Demonstrated interest in biology/genetics and working in a clinical diagnostic lab
– Extensive experience in Python and R
– Experience working under different operating systems, especially Linux
– Willingness and ability to adapt to changing needs and learn new things in a fast-paced work environment
– Candidates need to have US citizenship or permanent residency
